My best mate's bike, a 95 r1100. I can be at redline, everything fine, as long as the speed is low and throttle is not opened all the way. Once I get around 75mph or so, the bike doesn't want to go faster unless I roll the throttle on slowly, and never touching WOT. No matter what speed I'm going, or RPM, WOT makes the bike act a bit sick.
Here's the thing- the dealer adjusted the TPS, saying that it wasn't proper like. Previous owner changed it or something. It was after they moved it that I've been having problems. New plugs, new coil, new wires, new head gasket (some carbon buildup, but doesn't make the pinging sound, just loses power), new fuel filter. I'm thinking that the TPS is not right, not synced proper with the throttle.
If it's not, how do I make sure that it is? When the did the TPS, they also did a throttle body sync and they adjusted the wires and whotnot.
Cheers!
