In one of the fairly recent classic bikes magazines (don't remember which!!) I saw an article about building a bike lift.
I wonder if anyone saw the article, have the magazine or at least knows which issue it was.

Or, altenativelly, does anyone have plans for such a project??

Bike lift,not a problem sir.

Yosi, I've got plans to make myself one, but at the moment it's at the end of a very long list of things todo. I made one years ago, instead of having hydraulics,I used gravity, like a big see-saw,worked treat it did, and when you weren't using it, you could take it apart and lean it against the wall.

Thanks, Vern. The one I would like to have is called in the USA "Table lift". You roll the bike into it on a plataform and then the whole thing rizes. Neat for servicing, cleaning, etc.
My son is staying with me for a while and used to be a master welder while living in a kibbutz. And he offered to build one for me. Bless him!!

You'll meet him this Easter. Consider yourself forewarned. Not one but two Israelis are coming your way.

Shalom, mate

I think it was in CBG a couple of months ago. Let me know if you want it and I have look for it.

Yep Classic Bike Guide February 2003 page 58-60 It's the one with the picture of a black Norton Commando and a Kawasaki Triple H2 - they ran a road test of these 2 bike against each other.....

bloody hell! must stand a lot of use if it's intended for nortons.
