Bike parking at Oxford (Churchill) hospital

My brother will be in the Churchill for a week or so, and I was wondering if there was somewhere on site to park a bike without paying. Saw a bike in the bike area in one of the car parks today, but it looked like you had to use the barriers to get out, and so pay parking charges.

A lot of new buildings around, anyone current on the site?

hi, yes there is free bike parking in all car parks at the churchill, you just have to ride around the side of the barrier.

Yup - done the same. Plenty of room for bikes and no-one fusses about them.

Thanks for the information. Seems some naughty people were seemingly using the bike gap for nefarious purposes, and there is now an additional lump of concrete at the end of the barrier. OK for a scoot I guess, might be a bit marginal for a laden 1200.
