No use to you, this, but in case any SE-based forumers are looking in...I tested a 1200 at South London Motorrad in Caterham yesterday. Nice place, cafe with tables in the sun and so on, but the sales guys...
Attitude seemed to be "these things sell themselves, do you want one or not?". Offered me peanuts for my bike and, basically, shrugged their shoulders.
really, really put me off them.
Anyway, there we go.

And still off track BMW Park Lane - a few yrs back (3-4) a friend with a 1150GS had all sorts of issues with his bike service there. Avoild like the black death.
