Myself & another biker (I say biker but he has a Wing & a Valkyrie ) are in Cardiff from Friday PM to Tue Am with the U14s rugby team & wanted to do something bike related, even if it's just visiting a bike shop. The only thing I've found so far is Hein Gericke. Surely there's more :nenau

Or should we just have gone to Bristol to start with :hide

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. Piss takes also accepted ;)

PS: Good luck on Saturday :aidan May youse give the Englanders the thrashing they so richly deserve :D

Should have gone to Brizzle
There's not many bike related outlets in Cardiff, you've spotted Hein Gericke-which is a short walk from the Arms Park and milenium stadium (the manager (Andy) rides a GS but is not familiar with the term "tosser" so tread carefully) ;) There's also Robt.Bevans (Suzuki,Triumph and Honda-I think) and that's about it:eek If you're really keen you could ask someone to point out where the much rumoured new BMW bike dealership is going to be (if ever) if you like looking at empty showrooms,it's near to Cardiff City's football ground.
I may have missed out some-but I don't think so-unless you want to travel further afield :nenau

If your willing to go a little further away there's always South Wales Superbikes in Newport, about 5 minutes off the motorway jct 24, plenty of bikes to look at and a van outside for a cup of tea

You can go round to my son in laws house and stare at his Bandit in dismay and ask him when he's gonna finish it

I paid Mounter's a visit at the weekend..............booked a test ride on the 990SMT demonstrator-when they get one in :augie

Now that would tempt me to go to the orange side, looks fecking awesome, I reckon I sat on the thing about 4 times atthe NEC. Just thinking of reasons to tell Mel why I need one!!

Thanks guys, that's not a bad start :thumb2

2WH's suggestion of Bevans made me search for their website which in turn led me to this. I doubt we can just 'borrow' the coach & bugger off but I reckon there has to be a way. Even between 2 adults & a couple of kids a taxi might be a goer. Sunday morning looks like the best bet. Will let you know ;)
Anyone been or is that too close to Proff Land :augie

Allan, no objections to a bit of Orange Crush but defo too far to walk :rob

They sell lots of Dianese kit and Daytona boots.

Probably a bit of a bargain to be had considering the strength in the Euro.
