Bike Show, Birmingham

As I need some new gear I'll be heading to the NEC for the bike show in Brum, in the hope of a few bargains.

If there's a few that fancy a ride down, then I could be persuaded to stick the luggage on and join in. Otherwise anyone fancy a get together at one of the stands?

Bikes yes i agree, but in general I've found its not too bad for equipment.

Especially the lid and gloves that I need. The best time to go of course is the last day, as they don't want to pack it all up.

Be careful when buying lids, check when the lid was born. They tend to sell off the ones that are a few years old! Unless it's an exceptional price, don't bother.

Unfortunately, the vendors are charged so much money to have a stall, that they are not able to discount too much off clothing etc.

Can`t be arsed with it myself.....

If I was interested in any of the bikes,I`d go and see them for free at a dealer`s...and not have to jostle with the 'lever pullers and throttle twisters'.

For bargains,I`d rather go to the GMEX show.

Should be goin on 5th nov ,so far there's 3 of us meeting at junc 32 at 8.30 am
