I'm a bit of snob when it comes to luggage / accessories. You tend to get what you pay for.
Some friends, for example, have "Oxford" luggage that both looks crap (imho) AND leaks !
Now, after a recent purchase.... I have to give them (Oxford) some credit !
I purchased £100 a heated Gilet and (£5) lead (came with the essential bmw plug)
It fits comfortably, is very thin/supple and even has a heated neck roll.
Early impressions are that it is superb. I'd strongly recommend it if you don't already have one.
The 4 heat levels are ( well judged from gently warming to roasting) easy to change, the controller is slim and easy to tuck away if its raining.

The can bus copes ok with full power ( I'd have thought it drew more than 5 A !)
EDITED to say, I noticed the pic above is the rechargeable one ( don't buy that!)
You need the "plug in one" with the collar ! ( it looks identical) the one on the oxford website oddly does not have the collar )
