Absolutely gutted, got the bike fully serviced kitted put for a long biking weekend away and its gone while I was visiting a mate in Sheffield.

If anyone sees a blue and white 2001 plate BMW Dakar reg Y376 JGX floating round Sheffield (nicked from Hillsborough area) please don't hesitate to contact me, cash reward upon retrieval.

Sucks, just before a holiday too!

Major sad face .

Sorry to hear your news mate. The thieving Dee Dah Scumbags strike again.
You've opened up old wounds there mate I'm afraid.

Had this nicked from my garage last June. Only brought it up from Bristol 5 days earlier and had never even fekkin ridden it before the Sheffield Coonts smashed my garage door in and stole it.

I hope they all suffer early, long, very slow and painfully painful deaths.

....and breathe !

Will keep my eyes peeled . Good luck.

Bet the Police have rushed to investigate too eh :augie

Sorry to hear about this ...

Will keep my eyes peeled and let my mates know as well.

Hopefully you'll get it back and their bits will turn black and fall off!

Plantpot i'm back at work 2moro in Sheffield ( Law Enforcement) i'll keep a look out for you

I was gutted when a trail bike got stolen last yr. I'd only ridden it 3 times.
I didn't expect it back but emailed every bike forum I could think of & sent the police officer photos of it too.
Despite having a few parts missing, I got it back a couple if weeks later.

Post some photos up, you never know where it ends up.

UPDATE- DOBBY FOUND!

UPDATE:

My bike has now been found by the cops in a bush in Sheffield, and I want to thank all of you for your support and kind words, it's through word of mouth and genuine caring attitudes that I've had it recovered.

Not making a claim on insurance, cops said it seemed fine, but the recovery garage say it's unridable, all that matters is that I've got it back, got a nice summer project for it to be my favourite winter 'hack' and do it up to its former glory fingers crossed.

Again, thankyou very much all! Will update as to how 'unrideable' it is if I can get to see it tomorrow, and when I can finally afford to get it back too.

Go get yourself some security guys if you don't already, nothing worse than having no transport!

Cheers,
Jemma x

Great news about the bike Jemma - hope its fixable :-)
I'd agree about the claim too. Being naive and thinking that's why I had fully comp insurance, I made a claim. It resulted in losing 2 yrs no claims bonus & the renewal quote went thru the roof. Even my car insurance went up!

thieving scumbags
