Anyone else booked in for the Gloucester course on 3rd and 10th July?
There's a Glos. resident on a F650GS, & a few K-Series BMW's, so a possible maybe !

Well recommended - as is teh Castle Coombe day on 4 June. That's going to be in FB this month, so anyone who wants to get an hours ride with a police officer, followed by a 20 min track session for £25 needs to sign up quickly!
Would be great to get a few tossers down there!![]()

Just did the Avon & Somerset one this weekend, in Radstock
Superb - after 20 years riding, thought I knew a lot, and although I wasn't a bad rider, some simple tips have helped me a lot!

There's bound to be quite a few turn up, but I should think I'll be the biggest Tosser there...
Er, think I should have put that differently!![]()
Many thanks to Martyn for a great day today. Cannot recommend the Gloucestershire course enough! Would highly recommend that you go and book on these courses - in all my years biking this has been the best value for money £20 ever spent!
Tom

+1
Yep, thanks for doing this Martyn and Simon, also pass on the thanks to the Observers who came out today, it has been a very enjoyable experience and I will definately be letting my mates know how informative it has been.

After passing my test earlier this month, I need all the training and experience I can get so I've booked mine for Glos today on 12th & 19th June. Two days for just £20? Bargain! And you get to have a nose around in a fire station![]()
I read that BikeSafe is probably the best course for a newbie before starting on IAM or Rospa. Is that right?
). It's a good introduction to the Roadcraft way of riding and will help you decide if IAM/ROSPA is for you. After passing my test earlier this month, I need all the training and experience I can get so I've booked mine for Glos today on 12th & 19th June. Go for it Sean, I found it to be the best £20 i've spent in a long time.![]()

I did Bikesafe in Cheltenham with Martyn H in the late 90s (he must be 100 by now). It's a good introduction to the Roadcraft way of riding and will help you decide if IAM/ROSPA is for you.
Personally, I didn't go on to do IAM or ROSPA but a number of my mates on the same course did.
Whatever you decide, Bikesafe is in itself a very worthwhile course.

Am I doing something wrong?
My local forces are all 50 quid or more, is it cos I is crap![]()
