I've just returned from a 3 week tour of Spain.

Four 4 nights I stayed with Terry and Perle at BikEspana in the Sierra Nevadas in Southern Spain where they offer motorcycle tours. You can take your own bike,or use theirs.

They are very friendly people, and if you fly out they will pick you up and return you to Malaga airport which is about 45km away.

Terry is a dedicated motorcyclist and has a stable of 3 BMW 650GS singles and a Royal Enfield (which he can really throw around those tight Spanish bends). All his bikes are meticulously maintained and he has an extensive selection of motorcycle clothing.

Perle is an excellent cook and I guarantee you will enjoy the food (and the banter over a meal) She also rides pillion on the tours and takes pictures of you whilst you ride.

If you are looking for a motorcycle break in a quiet are of Spain either with your own, or one of their bikes, I cannot recommend BikEspana high enough.

I am writing this as an extremely satisfied customer who had no previous connection with BikEsana although I now regard Perle and Terry as friends.

We've been there................

....last year....rode our own bikes down instead of hiring them.....:):)

I was fortunate enough to have won 3 nights stay with Bikespana, in the GS Clubs Princetown raffle....and Perle and Terry let Paul stay for nothing....:D

Lovely place, lovely roads, lovely people......:bounce1

I've just been in contact with BikEspana, and there are a couple of mistakes in my original post.

Apparently they are in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, not the Sierra Nevadas, and they have 4 BMWs, not 3.

Apologies if this has caused any confusion.

Mike
