Brilliant!

Surprised how brutal the assembly process actually is, lots of hammer action in fact. And moustaches.

Nice find.

Did not see much shimming activity in the gearbox assembly sequence

(Ah so, I did learn something at the recent Airhead workshop day Rob)

Nice video. Very impressive seeing the ladies painting the little white stripe on the tanks.

What a great little film. They were building my bike!:D

I've taken loads of stills from it to help me during the Christmas hols when the plan is to get my engine back in. Brilliant!

great film, nice to see so much hands on . Would be interesting to compare with footage of current manufacturing line.

In a similar vein

Peugeot movie. Beware, its an hour long!

Peugeot movie fascinating too. Great sound on it, I could almost smell the lathes in engine manufacturing plant scenes. Starting scenes in foundry seemed very primitive but surprising amount of automation on some lines. I felt sorry for the poor buggers who were working in paint shop hand spraying with no masks, I can only imagine the toll that took on them in later life. Great movie overall.
