So. I've got my GSAdv. Lights, bars, lots of bits. What it doesn't have is crud catcher, front mud guard (fender?) extender, oil cooler guard, headlight guard. Nor does it have other bits like brake reservoir guards which I really don't see the need for. I think it has suffered front the lack of some engine protection but what guards are considered essential on the GS?

Guards n stuff

I think crudcatcher is v good especialy if you want to ride in winter
Headlight guard well that stops the what if ?question from floating in your mind lol
Same goes for oil cooler guard , all good if u do lots of gravel roads
If you want a more practical thing to do change the indicators for smaller ones as the standard ones allways snap in a drop as they stick out too far
Cheers mike

Unless you're riding round the world, a fender extender, mudsling and rear crud catcher should be all that you need.:thumb

99% of the stuff on the Touratech website is unnecessary tat (which I have too much of:blast:D).
