Hi All,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Can anyone impart their knowledge and wisdom on tyre choice?<o:p></o:p>

After a fantastic week enjoying Devon and Cornwall 'sur la 1200GSA' - I am feeling a bit uncertain about the front end now the temps are falling, the small lanes are staying damp under the tree canopy and the Tractors! - (I thought muck spreading was supposed to be contained in the field!) <?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"><v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></v:path><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype><v:shape style="WIDTH: 11.25pt; HEIGHT: 12pt" id=_x0000_i1025 alt="" type="#_x0000_t75"><v:imagedata o:href="http://www.ukgser.com/forums/images/smilies/250503/eek7.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\John\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image001.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o:p></o:p>

Any way - I have an Anakee on the front and an Anakee 2 fitted to the rear which is only about a third worn but the front is up for a change - can anyone recommend a suitable tyre to complement the rear Anakee 2 that can give a bit more grip and feedback in the winter months taking into account that a lot of my riding is enjoying the blissful loneliness of country lanes and back roads with some muddy patches in-between to join the dots.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
My local Beemer dealer has advised on a front Tourance to compliment the Anakee 2 rear end which should not give any compatibility issues.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
If my expectation of getting a bit more feed-back and grip from the front is a bit high - then please let me know - this is my first season on a 1200GSA going into the winter months - the spring and summer time has been a wonderful Honeymoon period but I would like to enter into domestic bliss feeling surefooted and confident <v:shape style="WIDTH: 15.75pt; HEIGHT: 21.75pt" id=_x0000_i1026 alt="" type="#_x0000_t75"><v:imagedata o:href="http://www.ukgser.com/forums/images/smilies/bounce.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\John\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image002.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o:p></o:p>
