Went in to Williams this afternoon to have a look at the sale stuff, and get a couple (well 4 actually) of my pannier lockes re coded. Janet had the cheek to offer to do them while I wait, and then brought them back before I had time to finnished my free coffee. And just to make matters worse she said (with a smile) there was no charge.

If this sort of sevice carries on I shall be forced to actually buy a bike from them. :D

Top service many thanks........

The sale was not just the usual clothing and accessories (50% off Streetguard as mentioned in another thread) but loads of parts as well. saw a GSA rear drive assembly, boxes of spark plugs, oil filters, assorted brake disks, even a clutch kit, 1100 I think she said. And seemed to be lots of body and trim panels. Bit like a BM boot sale. There was a printed list of all the stuff on offer. May be worth ringing and asking for a copy. May save a few bob....

So how would you suggest I found out if they have a pair of Savanna boots without driving the 200 hundred miles up there :( I could always get my Mum to to call in for me before her new hip operation I suppose

First post this- been viewing and picking up brill hints and tips since I bought my 1150GS in August, so here goes....

Loads of items in the Williams sale- most just odd nick-nacks, but I came across a set of city panniers (brand new, unopened). Managed to get the pair for £130 all in- been looking on ebay recently and also on the for sale forum- consider that to be a bit of a bargain. Well chuffed.

All I need is a standard set of lids as and when- will then have the choice of whether to stick with city lids or 'go large'.

Reggie also mentioned that they had taken over 10 orders for the 1200 GSA, so best get your orders in quick....
