The BMF is well and truly fcuked, good site, good food stands, you can have your pick of showers, toilets etc, good bands,But Nobody buying, about 200 tents with bikes, all the rest caravans and cars all having there own food, ale etc, stand owners saying that they will be loosing a lot of money. What a venue its superb. Big mistake is going up north, too far for the Cockneys to travel. :nenau

For me the big mistake was the financial shennanigans of a few years ago.

I am now a MAG member.

Yes, not pursuing East of England showground for the £100k stolen by their employee, paying out far more in redundancy for David Sturgess-Bowes than they ever needed to (rumoured he got a £55k pay-off) were major errors. The in-fighting between certain factions didn't help either.

Absolutely shite.

I went yesterday, needed a day away from work worries, but it was a big mistake. £15 to get in, what a fucking disgrace. We guessed at less than a quarter the size of the May show, stalls selling the tat they couldn't get rid of then. Probably less than 5 or 6 stalls selling stuff you might consider buying (not joking), otherwise random crap. No manufacturers stands (heaven forbid you might actually want to look at a flipping bike  ). Struggled to make more than a morning out of it, and that was with someone who had cash burning a hole in his pocket who spent an hour pondering on a set of RST leathers. Only highlight was the Red Arrows practicing overhead.

Tail end? Arse end more like. Never again.

Edit: Actually, a quarter is generous, more like a 10th.
