I've found threads on here and other BMW sites with part no's and instructions for connecting other non BMW GPS cables to the GS's three pin canbus connector, but what about the other way round?

I dont have a GS or a BMW (they don't make bikes for those of us on red L's), but I just picked up a BMW Motorrad Navigator III, I bought as an upgrade from my older Garmin StreetPilot.

I'm using a Touratech mount and the cable from my old Garmin but I want to use my BMW Advanced Mount Cradle but I don't want to butcher the BMW cable.

Anyone know the part number for the female connector on the GS's loom the cradle cable plugs in to?

thanks
Simon

That is the male plug my BMW Advanced Mount Cradle PN.72607679219 has.

I have a BMW NAVIGATOR III PLUS kit, with a BMW Advanced Mount Cradle.

I'm fitting it a bike that isnt a BMW so doesn't have the three pin canbus socket.

I know its a strange request, might just have to resort to searching the Tyco/Amphenol connectors database to work out what connector it is. They seem like they are the same series as the connector used by tomtom on the original rider mount.

Try a breaker or just cut the end off the cable and use ring terminals.
