Hi Folks
has anyone got one of these? if so, are they any good, do they have a water proof lining. tell me all about them. I feel the need to get one if they are OK.

Yep i have one i bought off a forum member.

Have worn it for the first time a few days ago thanks to this nice weather. Have found i need to wear a windproof edz liner under it for my early morning commute for it to remain warm enough, but for the ride home off a evening it is great with it's all over ventilation, but doubt it has any waterproof capability. I carry a small cycle waterproof to bung over the op if needed.

I have one. Bought it mainly to deal with riding in hot weather when my leathers are just too hot. Done one trip Uk - Crete and back plus riding around Crete Greece. In all worn it for about 6000miles.

Good in hot weather as lots of ventilation but with good built in armour (although I did buy back protector which is extra - had a friend paralysed by a smallish stone severing spinal cord some years back in a slow off )

Waterproof layer zips inside the jacket and includes thin thermal lining which was warm enough with a T shirt at 8c crossing Alps.

Only been through a couple of showers so can't really comment on how it would deal with downpour except that outside of jacket would become very wet but should dry out quickly.

GSA gives good protection from weather and I always carry lightweight inexpensive waterproofs as also useful as as another layer if it gets cold.

Jacket is very comfortable. Yellow bits do make you look like cop - good or bad depending on your viewpoint.

Back Protector

Hi all,

I have just picked up an Airshell Jacket with a back protector. BMW do both a solid and an "Air" protector for it.
Which one do folks have and would you go with the same choice next time. I have heard the solid protector is quite heavy..?

Thanks in advance,

John
