In the past few weeks I've been wearing a BMW Airvantage waist coat/ body warmer as an alternative to my BMW heated waist coat.
For those who haven't seen this jacket, as the temp drops, you inflate the jacket with air, and this provides thermal insulation and retains body heat.
Although the jacket isn't cheap at £185, I have found it to be far superior to the fiddly nature of a heated jacket and very practicle.
