Just changed the battery on my keyfob alarm blipper, have tried to re-synchronise it by switching on twice rapidly within range of the receiver as per instructions, bike doesn't want to know.

I've got the manual transcoder thingy so I'm mobile but don't want to trog all the way to the dealership to get the blipper fixed. Any ideas??

The battery is OK, the LED is showing constant as it should, but the receiver is not responding when I try to synchronise by pressing the button twice.

:(

Try removing the battery, then pressing the arm/disarm button a number of time (ie 10) before replacing the battery. Some remotes have a capacitor which it helps to fully discharge prior to replacement of the battery. This then forces the remote to synchronise 'fully' with the alarm unit.

But of course this is may not work, as i don't have personal experience of the B*W alarm, and the thread is 3 days old anyway so this is probably too late for you anyway.
