BMW beak extenders

Hi all

I bought the beak extender a little while ago, came to try and fit it this weekend and no joy, it doesn't marry up at all. I wouldn't have ended up with a GSA beak that won't fit a GS or are they the same?

Cheers

Are you sure - I've fitted the GSA MBW extender to my vanilla GS.

Thanks I was just about to join the ranks of the e bayers too, so saved myself a few quid, although I'd thought of a silver colour I think the Black is best as its liable to chip.
!! ordered today!:thumb2

I have now checked the beak is part number 46617664390, as listed by others above, I didn't get the metal spacers, not sure what they look like.

But when I offer it up, it deosn't line up at all. The mudguard has two screws one either side, the new beak, two each side and two towards the front, am I being dull?

Help appreciated.

Cheers

That explains a lot, although the part number is the same as quoted above, best get back to BMW Bristol and have a caht with them.

Someone suggested that they should be glued on with some form of contact cement, rather than screwed on. What do you think?

screwed on nice and solid and when you sell the bike you can remove it and sell it on fleabay for what you paid for it

Forgive me as I am new here but what purpose does the extender actually have?:nenau
