Hi,

Is anyone out there dealing with or recently dealt with BMW Bike Bits?
Please contact ASAP.
Cheers,
TrogXX:spitfire

I live up the road from them and will be outside their place (well, at Vines actually, across the road) on Wednesday morning. Wassup?

Hi,
Thanks for quick reply.
Am having problems dealing with them regarding a purchase.
Had problems contacting them (impossible by phone) and was wondering if they were still in business!?
Cheers,
Trogxx

I've had similar issues in the past, they did eventually deliver but I felt that good communication skills with customers was not one of their strong points, keep trying the phone and bombard them with e-mails ;)

Hi trogxx,

I bought a Wunderlich low saddle from them in May, turned out to be wider than my BMW low seat, so no good really.

I emailed them and they agreed to refund the price on return.

Cost me postage from France, but they refunded the purchase price a week later.

Pretty fair, can't really complain about that:thumb2

Hope it works out for you.

They've done me good over the years - when stuff did not fit I got the refund easily enough - better than you can say for some other parts suppliers.

I actually think Bike Bits and Nippy Normans are the best folks I've dealt with out of them all.

TT turned out to be good, but poor comms (possibly because they were moving house at the time) has them marked down a little in my book. If I was close to them to go order and collect I'd certainly get a whole lot more from them though!

Ordered Engine Bars from them, very very late. Depite bombarding them with emails there was no reponse for 10 days. They also never once answered or returned a phone call. When eventually, after 10 days  they did respond it was to say that they had been busy!

Product fine, packaging fine and prices fine.

Customer service not fine!

A Shame.

I have had orders with them too which have also arrived late. I made several telephone calls and was informed that sometimes the British postal system is not what it should be and to wait a few more days - up to 2 weeks! The goods eventually arrived after two further telephone calls. Incidentally I have ordered from Bobs BMW in the USA in the past - the goods arrived the next day via UPS. Still its not BMW Bike bits fault if we don't have a reliable postal system in this country is it?? Communication is not their strong point

Mine came by courier though. Not even the Royal Mail excuse this time.. ;)

I ordered the Wunderlich Ergo Screen last year from them which arrived quite quick. Then I sent it straight back as the Quality was crap. I called them (eventually got thro to a person after about 5 calls) after about three weeks and they said they had sent the replacement back to Germany and they would call me when the replacement for the replacement arrived. After about three months I called them again and was promised delivery within a couple of weeks. Anyway, I eventually received my Screen which was not perfect but what with all the hassle I accepted. Seems to me that the place is run on a shoestring if they can,t at least have someone to answer the phone. Not everyone can do business on line. By the way, my experience of N.N. is that they are not so nippy !!.
