BMW Charger Error

Got a BMW Optimate sort of charger, when I'm plugging it in I just get the 'Error' signal. Anyone had that and sorted it, or is it dead..

PS Not related to my electrical problem last week, this has been in a drawer for a bit and I'm having a clear out, whether to bin it or not.

I had it twice......once when my heated grips were switched in the 'on' position....and once when my gps was switched in the 'on' position and sitting in it's mount on the bike.

Try attaching it to the battery direct i.e. bypassing the canbus system, see if that makes a difference.

I had the same when plugging mine in the BMW plug, and the same when direct (on a new battery I hasten to add) so it was fekked.
