Can someone please help with their sizing charts? I want to buy some kit online without having to travel to a dealership to try stuff on.

I'm 5'11", 32" waist, 32" inside leg, 42" chest, 12 stone. Would that mean a 46 or a 48 for trousers and a 54 for the jacket?

What happened to good old small, medium and large....:bounce1

Hiya Dan,

I think you would really have to try the gear on to be sure because the sizes do 'change' slightly depending on the model/range .

I would, with some confidence, say that a 54 jacket would be too big for you though .

I am 5.11 , 14 1/2 stone , 36waist ( with a bigger gut) and about 44chest and I tried on a 54 BMW Santiago and it was too big BUT I am OK in my new 54 BMW Comfort Shell jacket (this jacket doesnt come with a liner but mine still has plenty of room for a thick fleece AND Widder heated vest under it). My 54 Rukka winter jacket is a very good fit with the liner in and I can only just get a couple of thin layers and a fleece on under it. I would therefore suggest that the BMW Euro sizes are possibly slightly larger than other manufacturers:nenau

The only BMW trouser I have are their City Trousers and they dont come in Euro sizes, I bought an XL. They are a little on the big side but the L were verging on too small around the waist.

How far is your nearest dealer? Dont you know anyone locally with some kit you can try on?

I suspected that might be the case. A trip up to Clarks at Rednal it is then.

Thanks for the advice.

Ive just tried all this shit on and near a godam it you will be a: -
size 52 jacket

size 50 pants (they are quite tight around the thighs)

I found this a few years ago & find that it's alays been spot on. BMW always seem to be the same in that, a size 52 in 2000 is the same as a size 52 today, whatever clothing you're looking at...
