The visor mechanism on my second Enduro helmet has now also worn out.

Really pissed off.

My last one did the same thing. There's basically a small plastic tang that the notches on the side of the visor rub/hold against an it's just not a strong enough bit of plastic (or deep enough grooves on the visor) to stay open at speed.

Added to the chin/neck skirt-thing that keeps popping out and the non-existant 'anti-fogging' I'm a bit unimpressed - kinda hoped my last one was a lemon, but seems they're just not that well designed - and bloody expensive too (£340), so I think I'm going to look elsewhere for a helmet.

Had it about 18 months, so I'd expect it to have performed better.

2 year warranty....................take it back and get a new one

Put the new unworn one on ebay

With the proceeds, buy a Tour X or Hornet DS.......................simples:clap

The chin/neck thingy will not stay in place for 10 seconds, I just threw it away as it's frikkin useless, BAD design BMW.

You can't expect a £50 visor to be antifog!.... can you BMW?

Never had other probs on mine though :comfort

Warranty... warranty... hmm.... where would I have put that then...

Right, so after taking the thing apart, the visor mechanism is all fine (no cracks) and the grooves on the visor had just worn enough to be ineffective.

Have bought a new visor and all is well.

Phew. That saved me nearly £300.
