BMW F650 GS single... fork oil leak onto tire

hello
my dealer has a 2000 f650 gs single for sale with very few kms and appears to be in a very good shape.
however it has been sitting at the dealer for some time now and i noticed that the front tire had oil on it and it was coming from the front forks.

do you think this is a simple oil seal replacement procedure? the forks look in a good shape... cannot explain why they are leaking so badly.

also do you think it is safe to ride the bike now that the front tire got oil on it?

If the forks aren't rusted or pitted then just change the seal and replace oil, spray brake cleaner on the tyre.

15 years old, could be anything from hardening to dirt, to having come into contact with something nasty, overfilled with oil etc etc etc. Forks seals do leak, it's no big deal to fix on these bikes.
