I have this suit -
bmw_rallye_full_suit_1548162987_e85632a6.jpg

And it has been excellent - in fact its my second!
but its starting to come apart at some of the seams and nearing time for replacement.
Its super comfortable.
I like that it has the waterproof drop liners.
If its proper hot (touring europe) I take them out and it has great venting.
If its a bit miserable, I can ride with them in and keeps enough rain out to not bother me. (does get heavy though when the outer wets out)
If its a monsoon, I always carry a rain proof overjacket and trousers, so put them on, on top and sorted.
For warmth, I just put my own layers on when needed.
I will be very sad to see it go

(for rare winter rides I have a older BMW tourshell suit which I also think is superb)

As far as I can see, BMW dont make anything like this anymore?
Everything is now Goretex or waterproof layer laminated so its A-Heavy and B-No use in hot Europeean weather ?
And it all costs mega bucks!
I have also been looking through Sportsbike shop and laminated seems to be the 'in thing' right now.

Anyone know of a suit still available like the above ?

many thanks for any help

I was in Bahnstormer, Alton, the other day. There was a similar style suit in dark blue. The waterproof element went on the outside avoiding the main suit from getting sodden in the wet. I’m sorry I can’t remember what the (4 piece) suit was called.

I have the Klim Baja 4, you need an outer waterproof jacket. In many respects is similar to the Rally, loads of pockets, water bag pocket etc.

According to the video this is what replaced the Ralley

The only problem is finding a dealer who has stock. I have the BM jacket and the Klim, was a toss up between the BM and Klim which one to keep. Opted for the Klim because there is more room for the air- vest.

New Rallye suit.
External A rated waterproof jacket/trousers.
New cut main suit.
Make sure you try it on as they have changed the cut. Can’t go by their sizing to previous ones.

Adventure Spec
do some good gear, I’ve switched to them after running BMW kit for years.

Got a Rallye suit that may...suit, depending on size wanted? It's absolutely pristine, as new.

That’s kind - Size 56 all around !
Thank you.
Sorry to disappoint but, unfortunately it's a 52 all round. Bought two or three years back (just before Covid?) when I actually was a 52.
Since when it has hung in the wardrobe...
I really must get around to listing it given that I doubt I'll ever be that slim again...

Thanks anyway - my 52 days are long gone and never coming back !

I've got a 56 jacket and 58 trousers hanging in the wardrobe where they've been for about 4 years unused. Drop me a PM if you're interested in either or both.IMG_0112 2.jpegIMG_0118.jpeg

Also - call Park Lane. They carry all ex-stock used for warranty, etc. they regularly sell stuff off for very reasonable prices

I have a spare RST Pro II Adventure suit I've been meaning to sell on after shedding weight but it's for chest 42-44 and trousers are 36w/32leg. Good suits, very adaptable as genuine 4 season and bags of pockets. Fully armoured and with drop liners for WP inner and insulated inner jacket. Lots of mesh vents beneath zip compartments in jacket and trousers too.
