I think Tiffs a good presenter and a bloody good driver. When you can drive like that, maybe you can comment. Having owned a number of rear drivers, it's not a easy as he makes it look. Public roads make it very hard to practice!!
I have the greatest of respect for Tiff as a driver but that really looked rigged to me... can you really imagine BMW marketing letting the 40,000 pound toy getting beaten by the 5,000 pound toy (not taking in to acct how tricked out both vehicles were)?
in favour of the GS ... .after all Pavey picked the route , and made it up as he went along... when it got tough, Pavey took smaller, windier tracks ... and he still lost.
And on top of that, it looked like Paveys back yard ... roads and tracks he has probably ridden hundreds if not thousands of times.
I am surprised by the result, but you have to hand it to the X5 driver. You cant take anything away from Pavey as a rider, so you have to give credit to the car and the driver.
