Bmw knocking recall.

I have been reading about the recalls on EWS ring. so phoned BMW today to ask about my 07 GS12, and he tells me there is two recalls on mine,the other is a engine knocking & flat spots. Does any of you know about the knock recall. ?

No, but its probably a firmware (aka Flash) update to fix it.

Therefore easy to do.

As long as you don't have knocking bad enough to cause any damage in the mean time. If you're worried about this using posh unleaded will help to avoid it.

Had it done doesnt seem to make any difference to performance just seems to make it knock MORE!
