BMW mark half-millionth GS with special edition R1200

BMW has made an incredible 500,000 GS-badged motorcycles since the original R80G/S in 1980. To celebrate it's launching a special edition of the R1200GS featuring a suite of tasty extras at a bargain price.

The mods include higher, smoked screen, two-tone seat, black wheels and aluminium cylinder head guards, which together make it look more storm-trooperish than ever.

Fans of the Long Way Down / Long Way Round continent-crusher will be even more moistened to know it's due to come in at just £200ish more than standard.

It's got my name on it!

does it come with free panniers? Think that will do me nicely. I was looking to change anyway. This comes with wire wheels like my 07.

Could be just right for the missus to ride as well.:D

It's not that special.

No handguards, LED indicators or pannier rails.........although, it can stand up on its own. :D
 
"Special Edition" - It's just a white one with some stuff from the Adventure on it, isn't it?
