BMW nav cradle does anything other than nav 5 or 6 fit in it.

Does anyone know if garmin make a unit thats essentially the same as the bmw one and fits the cradle without having to pay stupid money for the BMW one. I had the v previously and had massive bluetooth echo and glitching and really not keen spending big bucks at the moment espcially as the tft does a pretty good job apart from all those times my phone refuses to connect .

My zumo 660 worked fine but no wonder wheel interactions. The nav 4 fits ok but kept switching on and off in my 2017 cradle every 2 or 3 seconds.

Yep, mine works fine. Limited functions via the wonder wheel but no issues with charging or staying switched on etc.

The nav 4 was fine off the bike but as soon as it went into my stock cradle it kept saying switching off as though the power had been cut.same with engine running or just ignition on. Ended up getting the nav6 which “touch wood “ has been fine.
