I've decided to go for the Navigator III as I think the Zumo or TomTom Rider look too car-derived for a motorcycle. I also like the widescreen look - why don't TomTom weather proof some of their WS models?

The Navigator III is clearly a Garmin unit - do they offer the equilivant as their own unit, if so , which is it?

Thanks.

Hi Dave, don't know the answer to your question but would just add my twopenneth in respect of TomTom, give it a wide berth, customer service terrible. Not sure about your comment regarding Zumo being too car derived as it is a 'motorbike specific' GPS, and having one I'm delighted with it. Perhaps still worthy of your consideration.:thumb2

2820 or 2720

Must admit I am with Mitch those 4 extra buttons come in handy as to the fact you can easy remove the unit from the bike to use in the car is an added bonus.

If you have a 12GSA the mounting kit roughly £30 is also quite handy.

Just got a Navigator III +, it's a modified 2820, it has bigger track log functionaliy and is fuel proof........... There must be more differences than I can remember at this time in the morning! The fitting kit is £30, unless you have bar risers as I do, then you have to source the longer bolts from BMW bike bits......

When I fit it this weekend I'll post some pics and let you know what I think :thumb2
