BMW Navigator IV - Mapsource Custom Route Transfer

Hi
Hope someone can help. I have a newly purchased BMW Navigator IV European mapping GPS which has given me a headache.

Can't seem to access Custom Routes on my GPS once they have been created & saved in Mapsource - City Europe NT version 2012.4. I transfer to device and this appears as OK. However once I disconnect my PC from the GPS and try to load the Custom Routes, they do not appear to be on the device. If I reconnect the GPS to the PC and Upload from GPS the Custom Routes do not appear to be downloaded. I've also saved the files to the SD card, and this does'nt seem to work either.

Advice please from a Garmin expert - What am I doing wrong....or is the device defective?

Did you ever find out what the problem was ? I have exactly the same issue - created routes in Mapsource then transfer ( I get the message the the data was successfully transferred ) but they do not appear on the unit ! Tried lots of times - no joy.

Where on the 660 device are you looking to find the routes?
