Bmw navigator v

Has anyone here fitted one of these to a 2014 800 gs. ( not the adventure ) I like the look of it but I believe it's mounted on the adventure models screen support and wondered if I would need to get this support to mount the gps on the regular 800 gs.
I know I should have bought the gsa to start with cos this has got the potential to cost a fortune.

I have the Garmin 660 mounted straight off the handlebar with a RAM mount (I think the one that came with it). The Nav 4 was basically the same unit, not sure how similar the Nav 5 is. It's on my left handlebar, and its been perfect.
