BMW OE bags

I went to collect my new cases and saw the proper OE pannier bags. I thought bollocks and bought those too. I must say that they are superb and really well made. I am by birth a tight bastard and always look for the best deals, but on seeing the proper stuff I know I made a good choice. So fit for spain early next month, which is nice. Thanks for your help so far with my bike, which is just getting better.

I saw that the main event ones are £75.00 and the bmw ones were £120 but with 10% off they came to £108 which is a lot of cash but I wont be selling the GS for years as it is such a good bike. They do look ace and they are very well built.

for the record... I also have the pannier liners... they are the dogs... the only disspapointment is that they are not moulded to fit into the space in the pannier over the exhaust...

Anyway, my point is this, when i ordered my bike with panniers from new, i made the deal on the basis that the pannier liners were thrown in for free... which of course they were... they're expensive bags, so if you're looking at buying a 1200 with panniers, bargain with them, i got first service free of charge, pannier liners free, panniers at 10% off and had my non-bmw engine bars fitted by BMW....

I think at "free" the pannier liners are an absolute BARGAIN!!!!

Guys... haggle, you'll be surprised what you can get!!!!

I have been sworn to silence by barrie robson if I tell anyone what I got chucked in with the deal. I can say that a good deal was struck and I was happy with it. I have to say at the time I couldnt quite reach the expence of the luggage, but Im glad i got the OE stuff. i have found it waterproof in some right shit weather last week. I have noticed that someone is selling a full set on ebay if anyone is interested.
