Mine has full BMW service history but the dealers aren't keen because of the mileage and age.
I thought that's what these bikes were made for!

The markets moved, for private sales

Saw this morning & it’s mint
20k
Sold quickly and I bet there was a few hundred off the screen price

It is mint….I bought it! No discount but they did take my 2005 GS with the ring antenna issue (but running, with the new antenna / spare key hack) in p/x. 12 months / 3000 mile warranty too. Compared to the GS it’s instantly familiar as you’d imagine, more comfortable, and everything I expected it to be. The standard screen is too noisy / buffety so that will be getting changed but everything else is brilliant.

I looked at a few for sale privately however I wanted the added security of a dealer and the warranty, also part ex. The fact that the dealer is an hour or so away was also an important factor, as were the low mileage / overall condition. GLWTS.

Good buy that, well done
Enjoy

OK then here's a price drop to £4800.

If she doesn't sell I may very well keep her and pile on more miles every two years alternating with my Multistrada.

She's a lot of bike for that money.

Have you tried we buy any bike? Might be worth a look.

2013 twin cam 90th anniversary edition, 26,000 miles, full ali luggage.
I saw that but you mentioned "broker" so I wasn't sure.
It's probably a mileage thing thing then but that's what they were made to do!

I remember having the same thing running thru my head having bought a GS 25 yrs ago...with the salesmans "You could take this round the world mate" ringing in my ears....and then 2 yrs later with 25k on the clock much sucking of air thru teeth and mumbling of "Ooh, it's high mileage mate" (coincidentally, about the same as riding the bugger round the world!) A main dealer here in France has an older GS on their forecourt with 142k miles showing. The UK is backward when it comes to mileage v condition/servicing completed.

I worked at a dealer... Early 2000s... Customer wants a PX price for his Z3 against a bike... I speak to one of the main car sales and again... Sucking teeth, swallowed a turd look... Lowball PX offer reason it's a grey import .. I speak to very pleasant customer and get to telling him his low offer and the reason .. he points to said sales bigknob and says "he sold me it"... I tell bigknob this a short while later and he says " well we couldn't get any and had customers"....🙄😂✌️😂 Everything you need to know about sales is in there...👍😉

Final price reduction to £4400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is such a lot of bike for not a lot of money!

I agree, but it's not apparent from those photos. Do yourself a favour and give it a thorough clean, take plenty of detailed photos in the daylight including any bad bits and you might start to get some interest. 👍

It is very clean but also triple black!
There are no bad bits.
As I said earlier I'm not pushing or riding it until my bust ribs have healed.

The fact that you’ve dropped the price of the bike by a third and had no interest should tell you something. As others have said, it’s needs a clean and polish and taking out into the sunshine. Get rid of the stickers, take some general shots of the whole bike from all angles and then some close shots of those areas that matter. Engine cover, cardan housing, final drive etc. Do all that and drop the price to a realistic £4k and it will go.
