Hi everyone,

Well first off ... yes I've got a twat suit which I like and use it daily. Its about 6 months old and the stitching is coming apart on inside of the waist band, near one of the hoop's that you use to hang them up with. Its not much and I can probabley mend it myself but thats not the point.

BMW charge you a right fistful for this gear and I think they should sort it out. To be fair I've just found it and not spoken to my dealer where I got it from yet so they may just offer that up.

Has anyone else had issues with these suits and how did you get on with getting them sorted?

cheers

Nick

2 year warranty. i wouldn't expect any problem getting them changed.

ps. Poole? horton inn meeting, first thursday of the month if you're interested :)

Suppose it's worth a try!
The suede on mine fell to bits after 8 months and BMW refused to cover the warranty because they had been worn 'too hard'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers guys,

I'd normally just sew it up myself and be done with it but these are sold at big money for what they are so I guess I'll have a chat with my dealer. I'm out there Sat morn so I'll see how it goes.

Tilly, I'd have argued big time with them over that as they aren't fit for purpose after 8 months!! This kit is pushed as top end enduro kit so I would defo go back and push back against BM.

cheers guys

Hi Cookie,

Yep live in Poole and been looking through here to see if I could find some local like minded GS'er chaps and chapesses. Horton Inn sounds excellent. I'll defo come along to that one. Gives me chance to take the long route there if the evening is nice :)

cheers
