BMW recalls 80.000 bikes with Integral ABS- brakes

My bike was in being serviced earlier this week. They mentioned that this bolt was due to be done, but they didn't yet have the parts.

We can expect 'the call' fairly soon.

Just when you kinda put the 'doom and gloom' about Bayern Motorwerk behind you and they go and recall 90,000 bikes. Mmmm... :confused:

So it wasn't just the side stand they changed on the 06 bikes.

And there I was miffed by the 2hr download on the 600mile service, still at least their doing something about it. Some big companies would just pay out on the crashed ones!

My bike doesn't have any outstanding recalls...it's just not fair!

I photographed my front brake, something on there that is not on earlier 1200GS's?
