Dont most buyers have more than one new one a year ?
It comes as no surprise to me, a local dealer told me recently that they were selling around 80 gs's a month !! and if not for insufficient supply it would be more.

its not selling its lending then taking back when you cant afford the balloon payment and lending you another

That's a lot of bikes not sure that's right? Maybe 80 bikes of all models including the GS!

Probably includes all the loan bikes covering the RT issues.....
Yes, if the loan GS's and 1600's are taken out of the equation I wonder what effect that would have on the figures.
Still, a remarkable performance for BMW, they won't be too bothered with small numbers of serious issues as long as the bikes keep selling. I do feel that they are creating future issues with customer trust though.

My guess is the number of numpties who buy them...despite their own experiences...and I quote "2 new clutches , push rod , cylinder , seals , front wheel , fncking new engine , then another fncking clutch , 1000 more miles running in , another funkin tyre"................. Find the right customers...and you can sell anything.....BMW marketing at it's finest.......

My dealer was saying that bmw are working through their summer holidays to produce more bikes due to the rt problems, also 2015 bike prices have gone up as well as paying an extra £85 for any colour except white, there racking it in.
