Wow, we can't find the late one here for that kind of money. The early filter with the flats on it can be removed with a car tool so cheap ones are plentiful but the new filter for the R1200 and new K1200 bikes is completely different and only available application specific which is why I made this one.

Ahh, you didn't mention 1200 specific. You say " designed to work on all BMW spin off filters"

Anyway, the 1200 oil filter tool is available here for £8.50 ( approx $17) .

Don't manufacture too many of your tools

Thank you for the heads-up. There already are a couple of venders supplying them over here for even more money. I'll monitor it closely in any case.
