Does anyone have one of these & what's the verdict compared to the offerings from TT/Rugged Roads?

From a BMW pdf list found online it's described as "Spray-guard extension, rear" part no. 71 60 7 695 031 at the princely sum of £24.20

I have the Rugged Roads one :thumb

well they do what they say on the Can, spray guard, this time of the year all that swirlling road crap in rain, salt and crud keeps your number plate, lights etc cleaner so improves, safety and cleaning :thumb2

Extra sticker space if your into that kinda thing, heres mine:

Oh also ptotects your number plate from ambulances on emergency calls that loose it on black ice and give you a shunt (hence a bit crook) all origami'd back into place now good as new :blast

can not comment on other makes as never had one :D

Strangely, my bike came with one fitted (I hadn't specified it) so I don't have a clear idea of any difference it's made. However, I can say that the back of the bike, and my top-box, stay reasonably clean. Not sure what difference it makes to anyone behind either.

Is it me? Or does that tyre look worn in the middle whilst still having all the bobbles on the edges. You've paid for the whole tyre, so use it!

I've been trying to think how you could modify it, so that in contrast to stickers, has a punch/seal which would leave your mark on any vehicle careless enough to run into you, er again... :augie

Go to Burgerking ...

... and trouser one of their plastic trays, take it home and cut off the sides and one end, bolt it under your numberplate and you've just saved yourself £24 :thumb2

ps - If you've a Red GS, go to McDonalds :nenau
