BMW SYSTEM 4 HELMET

Just bought this for £20. Worn twice, a few light scratches otherwise perfect. Question for you, how old would this be? I think the current helmet is system 5?

All my helmets have had date stickers somewhere under the lining - I think it is a requirement .
No doubt someone else will comment on the risks of buying a secondhand helmet so I wont go on about it,but you could buy a TAKACHI TK30 for £39 on e-bay or a new black Shoie Raid for £85 from cissburyleathers.co.uk.

I think they first came out in 2000. They were then modified around 2002 with a removeable upper lining and larger spoiler on the rear. They should all be date stamped inside on the label under the lining.

i think hurst n ireland are selling them new for £150
