BMW Thermokomfort sole, anyone tried them?

Look at the gerbing heated socks aswell, found them to be warmed this weekend when I tried them both in my boots.

HTH, Nick

The BMW soles look very similar to some Tchibo ones I got last year £28 ish. Ok for the price but they only heat the toe area (circle with scissor pic in photo)
3Adjustable heat setting.

Got some weird Gore Windstopper insulated kind of toe-caps that work great. Put them on over your socks (elastic strap round your heel holds them on) - they cover about the front 1/4 of your feet - then boots as normal. Got them off ebay new for about £5 if that - work a toasty treat.

Do you know what they're actually called?

I've had a look on ebay and I can only see full socks when I searched under Gore Windstopper and they're about 8 quid atm with 5 days to go.

The things you're talking about sound like a better deal.

They don't have a name on (save for Gore windstopper) - I think the guy called them "Thermal toe socks" or similar. I can't see any on there currently either. Mebbe some of the better m/c cothing web-sites?
