BMW type aux socket

Hi there

This is probably a very stupid question, I've got a 1150gs, and on the left hand side, it has got a socket, I think they call it a din socket? But I cannot see how a car type cigarette lighter socket is going to fit in the din socket??? My tomtom cradle is giving problems switching on and off, and I thought about using the in car charger, connect it to the side of the bike and into the tomtom??? Any help, ideas please??? Is there any member living in the New Barnet/Whetstone area???

I'ts not a "din" socket nor is a car cigarette lighter socket. The correct plug can be had from your local friendly? BMW dealer, or from moto bins etc.
