I got this off Kenny last summer and haven't really ridden it a lot. Humbug and Paula rant about theirs all the time so I have started putting some miles under the wheels. It really is a great bike and the heavy flywheel engine is a peach. It's like travelling on an old school 2 wheeled Rolls Royce

Never ridden one, but I love my heavy flywheel R100RT, and I'm sure the R90/6 is even nicer :thumb2

yes defiantly a beauty thats for sure and overlooked, a lot of people aspire to the 90S forgetting about this one which has its bonuses regarding the price.
i like the 75/5 too

Here's mine. Less than 10000 miles, I bought it from a 72 year old chap whose wife had just left him for another man. What a bugger to loose a bike like that. Photo now below.

Rich C has the one he bought from me up for sale. At least he did the last time I spoke to him. Lovely bike and one I wish I hadn't sold. Looks just like yours Devon but with Ported and flowed heads.

I had a 90/6. BMW's old earls court show bike and used in a lot magazine adverts at the time.

I prefer it to the R90s, so easy to cover huge mileages effortlessly and comfortably. You could hardly hear it ticking over.
Should have been a keeper, but i got offered silly money for it.

I'm very tempted to get another one.

Mine has just completed a 6000 mile to Greece and most of the places on the way. It worked surprisingly well, with only a single intermittent problem to keep me amused. Up to 63mpg. It could do with a slightly more responsive suspension, but the Albanian roads helped to loosen up the forks.

A good reason to have kept the bike, I'd have thought.

They're very classy machines. I've been thinking of adding a twin shock to the collection for a while and the non S-ness is appealing, what with nice friendly Bings to waft one along the way.

I trust you fixed the electric problem ( indicators was it ? ) :-)

I did indeed fix it but it took all my exceptional electrical problem fixing skills: I cleaned a couple of connectors :D
