Hell what a party though.
I thought i would share some pics and a ride report of our mini holiday in Ireland at the bog roast.
I was to meet Gromit at the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry on friday at around 2pm.Heres my bike in the queue for the ferry ready for lift off.
I meet Gromit on the boat and off we go, 300 miles done and 200 to go.
We arrive at Rosslare around 6pm and kick off for tarbert.
Heres Kev's ranch with the happy campers...
so after a quick cleanup, its off to the beer and bollox.
Thats micky lurking under the hat, ravenbryne, damien,Kev, gromit, and some tireless helpers that a drunkrn haze has me forgetin their names.
Well done and a big thankyou to all the food slaves.
Theres no hiding Kev..
saturday morning arrives, and after a hearty fry up its off to the bikes for one of thee BEST rideouts ive ever been on.
The pace at first was a bit brisk, hurtling through the cowshit at breakneck speed, but hey it was fun.
We stopped at dingle for some really good food.A bit wet, but hell who cares..
Damien those eyes....hellfire..ok ok i'll pass the firkin ketchup...
After lunch we head off the beach,i had a bit of bother, bollix...
Then off to the connor pass, for some spectacular scenery, and we end up at another pub...The south pole inn, owned by an explorer.
Thats Micky in the foreground..doesnt he look like a nightclub bouncer?...grrrr
Off we go down to another beach for more piccys..
Then off we go home for a bar be que and a few dozen beers, and to watch the Bog brothers live..

After another hearty breakfast, gromit and i head for the hills and home.
On the way back we head for the ring of kerry, one of irelands best kept secrets..The roads are like a racetrack in places woohoo
a wee pitstop on the way home..
I wish to thank Kev and Mide
for a fabulous very tiring weekend, i enjoyed every mile (1350) and every minute and day.
I also would like to say hi again to friends old and new,The bog brothers are summat else..Gary and Ned..yeah,proper characters with hearts of gold.
