Wanted Boom mic foam end

The foam bit on the end of my BMW system 7 mic has become frayed and I fear I’m about swallow it.

I don’t want to rip it off before I’ve found a replacement, is this something generic or specific?

Are they glued on ?

Anyone know where to source one ?

Look on Amazon, there are tons for sale. I replaced my lads XBox mic with them.
