Hmmmm...............OK, now you've got me interested. I was considering a new pair of Daytona's (Travel Star GTXs or the like)
I've been trying to see if there are comparison reviews between the TCX Infinity GTXs and (any) Daytona's and one review mentions that the TCX are the same boot as the HG Rallye II GTX.

Called to HG on Fri and tried on their Rallye boot.
I normally take a 41 boot but the 39 fitted like a glove @ £169.99
Went to Crossan's - my size not in stock but the man would order them in for me. I explained I lived in Tralee - no bother says the man we'll post.
How much? says I.
I'll check says the man.
£184.99 he come back with.
What about the web site price I enquire.
They went up recently says he.
Oh says I they were £142 yesterday.
There not that today says he.
H G have a similar boot for £169 says I you'll have to do better.
Can't says he.
I nipped back to H G and did the £169.99 deal.
I drew attention to the £142 price here and apologise for misleading you all.
Would any representative from Crossans care to comment here?
My view of Crossans is not a good one - sharp practice says I.

strange i went on the website just now and
found this but i went back in and the prices had all changed
i noticed a £20 change in RRP but a £43 increase in their selling price
just seems a bit strange
Did the guy offer you any reason to cause the price difference?

The guy seemed to be an employee who referred to a hidden "he".
I was on my way to Newcastle with a friend sitting in the van and in a rush; I got the feeling that the guy was not interested in doing any business with me so nipped back into Newry town.
They are effectively the same boot so yis know where to spend yer cash lads.

Good man Gerry.....though to be honest, I've always had a good feeling with any dealing with Crossans.
Now that you have the Rallye GTX.....we need a proper GSer road test/review so I can buy with confidence!

That's the surprising bit - they have a good reputation which heightens the let down that I felt
Did not wear them in the van but wearing them about the house now - feckin sad git or what?
Will not be on the bike for a week or two but they are comfy if stiff now. What I like is no zips so nothing to break; not as clunky as moto cross boots and supposedly waterproof

Strange on Crossans, they were more than willing to order in a pair in my size of the GTXs. Got them for 169 STG as I'd been in looking for them before the price went up.
