Last weekend, I had a great ride around Northumbria and the Scottish Borders, at this event organised by Petcul of this parish
I've been doing it on and off, for the last 5 years or so. it's a great weekend away and Peter knows all the best minor roads, aka Boreens in that part of the world, so although the event moves from County to County each year, we never cover the same ground or so it would seem
This years was more 'northern' and we spent most of the weekend in the Borders, which was fab and the weather gods, favoured us with zero rain
Starting off in Hexham on Sat morning, we headed up in the general Kielder direction, finishing up at Peebles, staying at the very elegant Peebles Hydro

Sunday, dawned hot and sunny and we headed up to the borderlands, above Innerleithen
Lunch was on St Mary's Loch at the Tibbieshiels Inn - after running up over Meggethead
A very well adorned and immaculate, clssic TC GSA
