BOS system Gs1200 2006

I have a 2005 1200GS, the basic one. Me and a friend of mine fitted a bos system to my bike. It fits great, but I had to grind off some material on my hepco and becker engine bars to make the two thingies with the cables on the header come free. But thats the only small problem...
I haven't ridden the bike on the streets yet because we still have snow here, but the sound is just great in the garage anyway.
I bought this system from my friend ho helped me fit the system. He bought it for his 12GS adv, but the system didn't fit that bike bacause of the centerstand spring mount. So now hes really yellous at the sound and that feels just great!

Quality kit, marred only by the tendancy of the centerstand stop to bend after several stand impacts .......

how was the fitment of it, are you pleased with the baffle design, and has it a similar exhaust noise say to a remus system or is it different pls.

Fitment was spot on, quality excellent, power gains noticable. I like the sound but other owners have stated a dislike......

Had mine fitted around May 2006. I particularly like the fact that the Cats gone and the exhaust sweep around the front of the engine has cleaner lines with the H section removed.
I haven't removed the baffle but I think it sounds lovely. The beauty of it for me is that the noise isn't intrusive until you crack open the throttle - THEN you notice it! My friend Tommo bought a BOS exhaust too and we used to take it in turns to overtake one another on full bore just to experience it.
I was told that they're fully road legal and don't need to be removed for MOT's etc. (assuming you keep the baffle in).

All told £550 - but that was for the full system (pipes & exhaust)
No doubt you could find them cheaper with a bit of hunting around ...

My full system comes from Ebay.de and the total ammount inkl. shipping cost to me in Sweden was £376
