For anyone passing through istanbul heading east over the next month or so should note that both bosphorous bridges are free of charge until september sometime. Dont stop at the toll booth as you might get an unwelcome shunt from an angry turk

Bear in mind though that the FSM Bridge has road works and is a bloody nightmare to approach due to insane queues for much of the day. Keep to the right, as that will give more filtering options.
